LIFE LESSONS LEARNED FROM RIDING DIRT BIKES | YOUNG MOTOCROSS RIDER TEACHES US ALL A LESSON

NEVER GIVE UP! Motocross has taught us so many lessons in our first year riding dirt bikes. Not just dirt bike lessons for beginners and learning about what you need to get started in motocross. But serious life lessons learned through hard crashes, long training sessions, getting back up when you get knocked down, finishing something you started, looking fear in the face and facing it head on. So many applicable life lessons taught through kids dirt bike racing.

Today an eight year old savage taught us all a life lesson when he got knocked down in a hard wreck right out of starting gates. He was hit multiple times by multiple bikes. One dirt bike crashing after the other, one on top of the other, each kids dirt bike smashing into our Krewbie-doo piling up and bending and twisting his body like a pretzel. His leg was cranked back and bent the wrong way at the knee when the last dirt bike smashed into him, bending it just enough to send Krew into tears of pain.

Krew was given the choice to finish the race or walk his bike off the track and call it a day. Through tears, he decided to get back up, get on his bike, and finish the race. His decision taught us a valuable life lesson and had consequences we never saw coming.

The outcome was two state championship trophies. 3rd place overall in his class and a 5th place trophy as a result of finishing the moto he crashed out of the starting gates in. Could not be more proud of him and the lessons he taught us through motocross.
